My left arm had a PICC line inserted (but not usable yet) and 8 IV holes in 10 days, my right arm had given several blood cultures, two samples, withstood 5 IV attempts by 3 nurses and started to blow up. They went for hands, knuckles, whatever they could find. I wanted them to get the nurse who could start IVs on my 4 1/2 pound daughter!
